Why I Joined Fire/EMS

When I was 16 I was bored to tears and needed to do something. Figured volunteering for the community would be better than hanging around the gas station with a loud audio system in my truck like all the other small town teens did.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

There is no better feeling than the pride you have when you surround yourself with people who care more about the community they live in and serve than they do themselves.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Funding....no money for upgrade of equipment, no funding for station repairs, not even enough for PPE after you pay for insurance, fuel, maintenance, or compliance costs.
