About Me:

I am 21 years old, for the last bit of my life I have been working my way through college one semester at a time in the Oil Field/Natural gas field in Colorado. Right now the Natural gas field has dried up here and it looks like I am not going to get a shot at working through my next semester.
I have not joined a firefighter squad or had any formal training just yet, but now I am looking for a good chance. I was about a week from joining the Air Force fire fighting program but had mixed feelings about signing 4 years of my life away, now im over the commitment issue and realize I need to keep my head on straight and commit to a profession that I will be doing for the rest of my life. As of now I cannot join the air force because of medical reasons (I had a surgery and they will not let me enlist now). If you have a opportunity for me to join and train as a firefighter (first firefighter than I want to move up with EMS after I get Fire certs) than please contact me, I would not mind traveling, I am single, lead a moral life and am eager to grab opportunity by the horns and help the people around me.
