Joined department in 1994, Served as Safety Officer from 1997 through 2001, Assistant Chief from 2002 through 2007, and Lieutenant for 2008 and 2009. Appointed as Chaplain for 2008 and 2009. Appointed as Assistant Chief for 2010 and 2011.

Project Manager for Geotechnical Engineering Firm

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Initially, I think it was for the "rush", but it didn't take long to realize what a valuable service we provide. There is nothing better than helping a stranger or a neighbor in their time of need.
