Why I Joined Fire/EMS

In the late 1990's I was unable to save a man who was in cardiac arrest with basic first aid & CPR. It was all that I knew at the time. I didn't like that helpless feeling. I wanted to know more. I finally earned my NREMT-P in October 2007.
