I am a certified EMT-B and trying to achieve my FFI.
About Me:
I love going from 0-60 in a matter of seconds. I'm generally easy going but when those tones go off I'm ready to roll with a full tank of adrenaline. I even find myself getting down if I go without a call for very long. Can you say- Junky?
Day Job:
Full time EMT for my department.
Relationship Status:
Divorced
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I'm an adrenaline junky. Helping people who are probably having one of the worst days of their life helps me to appreciate my life all the more.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Adrenaline

hi, i was reading the post you left back on june 4th about the mva/pulse/vitals with the forearm...you had mentioned a wrist b/p cuff. as reasonably priced as they may be,i have found them to be very unrealiable in motion. that is to say, im sure if your patient is sitting still and you get vitals before the bus starts moving , im sure they will be fine but i have found them to be crap in a moving squad or keyed up situation.if you get a chance, have someone take the b/p with the wirst cuff in a non-moving as well as moving scenerio and you too will see the drastic changes in your readings. just trying to help,as always , stay safe and have fun ~ Fran
I've been a little busy with work, kids, and trying to get the department done, i'll stop by your station next week and show you how to do the music, if you remind me
