I was wondering about turnout gear , hose, all the stuff in the compartments..
I would think that Churchville or Shoemaker or somebody would have a loaner or two..

I left the Airbase back in 1981 (Good Lord,did I say that) and there are a lot of new faces..I only know Asst. Chief Stein and Snazza and the training Officer Mr. Dimes???,I always mess that up.

How you guys doing with the Hall and your equipment??

Well we don't have a Pumper I mean we do we have two of them we have the Army trucks and we just made one into a pumper cause we can't afford to go out and buy a nice truck LOL. But one Pumper we had to pull to start and the other one is not in service yet because we have to get the Water thing on it fixed so

Sheridan is about 4 hrs from my town. I am the only Jr. in my Town thats what I meant. There are a couple in Olney Springs which is 11 miles from me but OVFD which is my Department I am the only one. LOL Yeah I need to find me a digital camera to take pictures of our Ambulances and Trucks we have a New truck because back in April we have a really bad fire it was a wild fire that struck my town and we lost two fire fighters. We also have a brand new Ambulance as well. and We have a New department but the Ambulance and Fire Hall came before the Fire we didn't get those two things by our town burning to the ground. LOL so But yeah.

Well see I have a radio and pager. But my radio stays at the Fire Department I only get my pager which I have to get a new one because one of the firemen accidentally stepped on mine cause I was up on a truck and if fell off my pocket. So I have to get a new one. I am the only Jr. we have in my county and town I mean I am not the only one in Crowley County but... Anyway My radio is out of service because technically I can't have the one I have I have an older radio. The new ones we got a couple of years ago are 800MGhz and are very nice. I will just have to get pictures of my whole Department. Will that work for you.
