About Me:

I am a 21 year old small town kid raised in the southeast corner of Nebraska. Raised farming with my grandpa and dad (love it!). I graduated high school in 2007 then went to SCC in Milford for HVAC/R. My life consists of working at our Plumbing/HVAC shop, my girlfriend, our dogs, Fire & EMS, golfing, bowling, goin to church on Sundays, and having fun in the process.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My full time job consists of a Plumbing and HVAC business that my dad and I own and operate. Our secretary and full time hired man are both State licensed EMT/B and firefighters. Infact our secretary is more than half way through with her Paramedic class and is a licensed EMS instructor. My better half is a Firefighter/EMT. She works for the Nebraska State Fire Marshal Training division and SCC in Lincoln as an EMT instructor. My dad has been a firefighter/emt for 22+ years. My grandpa is also a firefighter since the early 1970's. My other grandpa was a firefighter for 25 years until he was burned in a oil tanker fire. I have been raised with fire/ems my whole life and I intend on being active till the day I die! Couldn't find a better way to serve my community.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

The rush, the feeling I get when others thank me for helping them when they had no where else to turn, and its in the blood!!
