- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- When i was a child i was able to help a VFD do a search and rescue of a toddler that went missing. When we found the little boy, the rewards that i felt inside myself were awsome. The boy was unharmed and had wondered away from home while mom was asleep on the couch. The tot was found on a golf course
setting on the green crying just waiting for someone to find him. Fortunetly for my motivation today, the team i assisted was the team that found him. That is the event that motivated me at the age of 14 yrs old to persue my career as a firefighter EMT.
