I am Fire Fighter II certified, along with Haz Mat Ops.
For EMS I am a Basic EMT.
I also am a member of the Pierce County Dive time where I am ERDI I and Ice Dive certified.

About Me:

I am married, with two kids, one daughter and one son.
I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with the family, and of course hanging out at the fire hall.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined Fire and EMS to help members of my community and to give back to my community.
I also enjoy being involved in situations where I have to think on my feet, and nothing is the same.
Fire and EMS is a good fit.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Getting funding to acquire gear and equipment for the fire department, fire fighters, and ambulance.
Recruiting of new recruits seems to be an ongoing issue, as there seems to be too many people that are too busy to devote the time to EMS services.
