- I am an adrenaline junkie from way back. It's better than being addicted to other things.

- Top Issues Facing Responders:
- After 17 yrs of being in fire/EMS, I recently went back to school to get my ADN to become an RN. It took me basically the same amount of time to do this than some of my friends who were getting their paramedic license at the same time. I will be making roughly double the salary that my friends will be making. Is there any wonder that we are suffering from a shortage of paramedics? I love being a medic and would not give it up. I would also like to get paid better for the services that I do.
