Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Enjoyed working in the fire service as a cadet and enjoyed EMS when I joined the department and started working in both fields.

Volunteers do not have enough hours to train up to the level of paid departments. Jobs are their bread and butter and because of this there's less time to spend at home and in a volunteer department.
