About Me:
I'm 35 years old, and I love all aspects of my job. I'm married with (2) beautiful daughters. I enjoy camping, fishing, NASCAR, and football when I'm not at work. People who know me describe me as outgoing and easy to get along with.
I joined the Fire Service when I was 21. I figured it would be cool to drive the "Big Red Truck"! So I joined the local Volunteer Dept. here in Swansboro. But after my first few calls, I realized, This Was It!! This is what I want to do with my life. I got out of the Marine Corps in July 1996, and was hired on as a Probationary firefighter with Camp Lejeune and am still there today. It is in my blood, I love it!!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I feel I have a gift that allows me to help others.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I think the biggest issues facing responders today is budgets, equipment, and manpower.
