- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- I've always wanted to be a fire fighter. I obtained my EMT license in FL and moved to upstate NY 4years ago. I became active with the fire company after spending time with my finace and the guys at the "house". I always thought I was too old, but out of the class, I was the only woman that completed the course. I've been volunteering for 2 years and love every minute of it.

I'm Art Delaney, Division Chief down here in NC. I am a member of EML up in Ballston, my dad was Henry Delaney, KIA in '74. I was up there this past summer and talk to a brother at the 2's who also worked at Glens Falls FD. I promised to email him the picture I have of 141's rolling on her maiden response. I lost his email. Could you get that for me so I can shoot him the picture? Thank you sister, how are you enjoying living in "Gods Country"!!
