I am a 27yo female w/8 years in the best fire department in the world. I get to work with the best group of people in the world (and miss them on my 4 days off). I'm a workaholic (my captain makes me take time off ). I can not imagine doing anything else but fighting fires. I started out as a fire cadet in high school and went into the department full time when I graduated.
