Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father was a Volly... I always had a thing for adrenaline rushes. So while I was in college, working on my undergrad degree so I could go to veterinary school I became a volly in Thibodaux. I really enjoyed it. in 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, I decided I didnt want to go to veterinary school, and decided that I wanted to be a paid firefighter, and an EMT, by this time, I was running an animal emergency hospital close to my hometown, and was volunteering for Nine Mile Point fire dept. NMPFD put me through the academy, and I obtained my firefighter I, hazmat awarness and hazmat ops, cpr and basic first aid, when I started my firefighter II class, I also started my EMT-B program. Unfortuately, I have not yet recieved my firefighter II cert, but I have sucessfully passed national registry for Basic. So I guess you could say I became part of the emergency services because I like working on an adrenaline rush, and love helping people.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Helping others, the adrenaline rush

Too much politics, lets just stay the brotherhood we are supposed to be, protect lives and property, and leave the politics to the "professionals". Politics--- Poly = Many; Ticks=blood sucking parisites=politics
