Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I was looking for a way to take part in my community and to help people in their time of need.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

The feeling of doing the best I can to help someone when they need help.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Getting young people, or anyone to join and stay in a department. The towns and cities need to realize just what goes into serving on the departments and find a way to better fund the equipment that we need and some way to reward people for their hard work and time. There are some of us willing to do what we do for free but it doesn't pull in many new folks.
