About Me:

I was born and raised in Portage, WI. I have a Bachelors degree in Art Education from Wisconsin State University, LaCrosse. I taught art for six years and joined the local fire department and county rescue squad because of the TV show Emergency.
I decided to make the jump into the fire service because of the extremely poor pay afforded teachers in my school system and the great desire to further my experiences in the firefighting/Paramedic world.

I put in 24 years on the DePere fire/rescue department and left after an on the job injury forced my decision.

I am currently the Web Liaison for the Red Knights International Firefighters Motorcycle Club. I have been a Regional Director for that same Club.
