My Training:

I took the Motor Vehicle Rescue Class. That is the only class I could take so far for the Fire Department. I also took the EMT-B class. I can take my other classes this spring. We never have enough people to sign up to take the classes.

About Me:

I became a firefighter 2 years ago and after that I decided to futher my education to become an EMT-B. I can use that in the fire department also.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

It was something that I always wanted to do. I enjoy helping people. I just took the EMT-B class at IUP and I will be working at Citizen's Ambulance.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

You feel the rush every time that pager goes off and you know you are going to help someone

We don't have enough people to help. It is not hard to take classes and get out there to help others.
