Why I Joined Fire/EMS

After a hiatus from the electronic/software engineering world when my son was born 7 years ago to be a stay at home dad. I suddenly had a lot of time on my hands last year when he entered first grade. I decided rather than go back to the grind I'd volunteer at my local Fire Dept. That was all it took, I was bitten by the bug and now have decided to make a new career out of Fire/EMS.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

It is challenging both on a physical and an intellectual level, and no two calls are alike.
