Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I got into Fire Service to help people and do what I can for my community

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Having to play the #'s game in a volunteer agency! No one should be expected to wait around for their pager to go off so they can make an arbitrary amount of calls decided when the department was created (when moms stayed home and dads didn't do anything with their kids until they were older) in the 60's. Volunteer means volunteer.
