About Me:
50-something, born in Pennsylvania, lived all over the U.S. and ultimately ended up in Texas - where, after 25+ years I still hate the summer heat. Never far from public safety, I've spent the last 8 or so years working as Executive Director of a police employee organization and as a private consultant to government and non-profit entities. In my spare time I love to travel, cook and camp.
Day Job:
Media/Marketing/Public Relations
Relationship Status:
Single
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I was 20 and public safety (the fire service initially) offered the most legal excitement available.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love people and I get great satisfaction from helping those in the most dire of circumstances. In addition...how many but a few (mostly Doctors) can share in the joy of delivering a baby - and then having him named in ones honor. Doesn't get any better than that.
