About Me:
Started firefighting in the USMC as an ARFF. Did that for eight years and worked for the Orange County Fire Department for seven years. Switched to Law Enforcement with the Orange County Sheriff's Department where I worked as a Deputy for 24 years before retiring. The last several years with the Sheriff's Department I was assigned to our aviation unit as a Pilot/Flight Instructor. We were contracted by CalFire & USFS to provide Helitac so most of the fire season we would chase the fires in SoCal. After retiring moved to southern Utah and joined the New Harmony Valley Fire District and was just recently promoted to Assistant Chief.
Day Job:
Retired
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Always knew I wanted to be a first responder. I have the honor of experiencing both sides, firefighting and law enforcement.
