I have been a volunteer firefighter with the Fruitvale organization and Yakima fire, I started out my career in EMS with CARE ambulance and Medic One here in the valley and have been hooked ever since.

I have been in the fire/ems service for 15 years, I have extensive training in fire and ems operations

About Me:

I am a small town guy, trying to make it in a big world. I live outside the city on a small farm. I have a wife and 2 children that mean the world to me, and I do what i do for them.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I feel a need to help those in need, and the times when you are called is most often when someone is in need, there is a special place for those that serve without the seeking of gratitude.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

It is everchanging and evolving

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Keeping up with the changing standards placed upon them and maintaining an interest in what you do. Dealing with a society that has lost the need for volunteerism, and budgets that can not support the need for new equipment and personnel.
