Most through the State of Ohio
But for some reason they lost almost everones records some how. and now the new training is through the EMS in the State of Ohio.
About Me:
I am Married to my lovely wife Joyce for 43 years and we have two childern Deborah and Micheal I have two grand children Bryce 11, and Kylie 1.
Went to Wayne High School class of 1963, worked for Owens Illinois Glass Co. for 30 years, then went to Lowe's where I was in managment for 12 years and retired. I am a master electrican , worked as a paramedic with Southeastern Emergence Ohio Medical Service (SEOEMS) and was a Chartered Member. Helping people who are in trouble thats what it is all about, coumminity service, for what we give we may have to recieve someday.
I was a freshman in high school, and where I lived at the time was at Lavalette, Wva. and about 4 driving miles to the fire station and could here the Siren at the Station go off at 2 to 3 am laying in bed and so I decided to go an see if they would let me join, this was 1959. Been in the fire service and in 1986 became Chief at South Point oh.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I guess its in my blood, I love it.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Fire Prevention, the more we develop better fire preventive measures the less firefighter, and civilian injuries,and deaths. There is also from the Chiefs vision the politics and budgets we have to deal with all the time.
