Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I got involved when I turned 18 by hanging around some guys at the firehouse. Then 1 of my best friends at the firehouse married my sister. Now it's a family thing. I took the EMT course on a dare, now I have been a paramedic for the last 11 years, and an emt for a total of 28 years. It's in my blood....
