Mission

My mission here on FIREFIGHTER NATION is to have fellowship with others, whether they are active, volunteer, paid, retired or just buffs. Also, at the same time, try to bring an enlightning word about our LORD JESUS CHRIST. I know being a firefighter is a tough job. I was a volunteer for 11 years and a fire dispatcher for 10. During that time we had 2 fire fighters lose their lives, 1 paid and 1 volunteer. The volunteer that was lost was my best friend. At that time we didn't have any Chaplain's or Minister's to turn too. So, by writing articles, poems, etc., maybe I can bring some comfort to others. I know what a firefighter goes through, because I grew up a firefighter's kid. My dad retired several years ago after serving 31 years. You can also contact me at: www.guardianangelministry@yahoo.com. Let me know you are a member of FIREFIGHTER NATION. Have a JESUS filled day.

The thieves, the liars, the sinners, the alcoholics and the trash.

There stood the kid from seventh grade, who swiped my lunch money twice.

Next to him was my old neighbor, who never said anything nice.

Herb, who I always thought, was rotting away in hell.

Was sitting pretty on… Continue
