past member of North Madison Vol FD, East Haddam Ambulance, a police officer for East Hampton CT PD, Clinton PD & East Haddam PD. Worked for corrections for 13 years and the for Dept of Consumer Protection Home Improvement fraud unit.

NUMEROUS fire, EMS & Police & correctional courses, academys,etc.
About Me:
was severly injured in Hurricane Gloria when hit on the jaw by a power line requiring NUMEROUS jaw reconstruction operations using my ribs to rebuild the lower jaw bone and artificial jaw sockets. In 1986 I was severly inured when a vehicle broadsided me while on my motorcycle driving from my police job going to my correctional job. My left leg needed to have a LOT, NUMEROUS leg reconstruction operations, still under going them as of this date. I sure do wish the days when I would be able to run over 20 miles per day plus work out in the gym, now some days I am lucky to just drive by a sign that says " Gym"!!

to keep updated on the current affairs pertaining to my chosen love.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
everything to do with fire / ems, from community envolvment, to give back to all of my neighbors and the brotherhood that comes with working along side of so many men & women in the same field.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Training in so many different fields. Money for the departments to be able to purchase the much needed equipmewnt, vehicles and gear and how can we make these much needed purchases. To keep ALL of us safe in all that we do is #1!
