My Training:

I'm a Fire Fighter one, I have my EMT and I also have ICS 100,200,700,800. I'm taking the S-130,131,190 in April, In May I'll be taking my AO classes so that I can operate and drive the engines. I'm also taking a four week class this summer to get my certs in swift water rescue, ropes tech, and outdoor survival.

About Me:

Ok so my name is Raymond some people call me Ray. I’m a volunteer Firefighter and I work on an ambulance as an EMT. I’m 19 and go to Pacific Union College which is just about the best college ever. I’m majoring in Emergency Medical Services with the goal of becoming a paid Firefighter and Paramedic. I currently reside in Angwin California which is a small town above Napa Valley. I’m a vegetarian, a Seventh Day Adventist, and I love the out doors and just about everything you can do outside. I love backpacking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, running, mud caving, geo cashing, and just walking out in the mountains. My friends are the best thing that ever happened to me I couldn’t live with out each and every one of them. God is my number one friend and I’m trying to build a better relationship with him while I’m at college, the cool thing about God is that no matter how close you get to him or how much you know about him you can always get closer and learn more. I love helping people that is why I love my career choice so much. The joy you get of knowing that you mite have been able to make a difference in someone’s life, the ability to show them God’s love through your actions is more rewarding then anything that this world could offer. If you don’t try to make this world a little better while you are in it, then it will for sure be a better one when you leave it.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I can't think of anything better then saving lives and fighting fires It's my passion and my life I love what I do and I can't even think of what I'd do without it.
