Why I Joined Fire/EMS: When I first heard about the emergency services our local squad had only 6 running members at the time and they were recruiting volunteers. At the time, I thought what a great way to give back to the community. 20 yrs later and I am still doing it and will continue to do so.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: The lack of funding to volunteer rescue squads. Recruitment & retention of new members.

Party starts at 1600 hrs on the 7th of March, and goes till everyone leaves. I'm on duty tomorrow, Thur Feb 28th for a 24 hr shift. Give me a call at my station and I'll give ya my cell number. Station # is (386) 615-6034. Just ask for me. I kind of screwed my self and scheduled days to work at Daytona International Speedway for the bike races so I won't have many days off, but I will be available for evening and night rides.
