Hey I wanted to invite you to some events if you're interested-I already told you about the 3rd-this Thursday, after the block party-like around 10PM my friends and I are going hit my place up & play beer-pong and have a fire. On the 5th-Saturday we're going to set off ~$1,000 worth of fireworks and there will be beer as well-that starts about 7pm-if you wanna go just leave me a post and I'll give you directions

Ya I'm a lil bit older then you so I think when I did CAP it was like in '98-'99. Well our Fire Station is always looking for volunteers-but I don't know where you live-but we do have a residency requirement. You have to live within Alplaus' Fire District which is in the Town of Glenville. But if you're interested we are having a big weekend on the 4th of July-starting w/Firemen's games on the 3rd (Thursday @ 6pm) and then a "Block-Party" where we all get drunk. And then of course the parade on the 4th starting at 11am-down the main drag in Alplaus. If you come I can introduce you to our Chief and maybe he can pull strings-that is if you're interested in join..

Civil Air Patrol? What year? I did it for a while but got out of it because it was like the Scouts on crack. I was in the NAVY ROTC while obtaining my BA in Criminal Justice from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA, but chose not to be commissioned-biggest regret since. Anyways...do you do any fire-fighting/Rescue?

what base are you out of? I only ask because I volley with Alplaus F.D. which does a lot of Mutual aid with the 109th Stratton Air National Guard Fire-fighters/Department since they are in our fire district.
