Highly implausible story- A spark from a golf club causes a 25 acre fire

Could someone hitting a ball out of the rough causing a spark cause a 25 acre fire requiring helicopters and 150 firefighters to put it out?
A new nozzle that uses 2 gallons a minute and 100psi to put out fires

When the clean air act banned CFC's the Navy set about designing a nozzle that can put out fires using very small quantities of water at low pressures
