Feeling of doing some good.. knowledge of how to safely handle a crisis.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Civilians paying attention to blue lights..and small cars with big sound systems that can not hear anything , especially Emergency vehicles trying to get by them...but there big base systems prevents them and other cars nearby them... to hear us coming ... causing a dangerous or slowing us to our next job.

Glad to see you joined the Firefighter Nation. Who are things in West Islip? I didn't live to far from you several years ago. I lived in Bay Shore behind the Gardner Manor Mall. I lived there for three years before moving to Lindenhurst. As you can see from my profile on FFN, I moved down to South Carolia three years ago to follow a dream of owning a small horse ranch. The name of my place is The Sunshine Ranch, and I am located in Spartanburg, SC. I will say I miss all the brothers, and friends from up North, but I don't miss New York to much.
