I'm a 22 yo wm, stand about 6'2" 260 lbs. I've been a firefighter with the city of Kettering for a little over 2 1/2 yrs, getting ready to put my application in at Clearwater Fire and Rescue, Florida.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined to keep the family tradition going. Also want to help protect lives and property.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love the feeling that I did something for some complete stranger and it helped them.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Never knowing what you're going to run into on a call. Physical fitness is another key issue for the fire service, and personal health is a big issue for firefighters.
