EMS. we train for basic emergency services and fighting the flames!Actually we learn much about the 1st responder, not just fire fighting.

About Me:

I love loyalty and trust, i'm a huge dog person. I also love books of most every kind. i live on a farm and was adopted by my Aunt and Unkle. And though i have breathing troubles i'm a big runner! (Soccer,Track, wrestling, and just plain working)
My only down fall and not knowing when to give up.

Day Job:

Volunteer, I do what is needed of me, from pushing a stalled car, to farming.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I have a hero complex... plus it's the only hard true working hands on activity that i could do that didn't involve sitting on my butt most of the day! I tried going for a law enforcment degree but the sitting around got to me. this is what i truly want to do! Besides what most people don't beleave is that hero's are paople too, just doing heroic things!During 9-11 i was a useless child and only hid, it felt like... now i can make a bigger difference than any other hard worker out there! (I think my head swelled with air for a moment)

Why I Love Fire/EMS

because it's a job i can love, and be proud of. wake up every day and smile

Top Issues Facing Responders:

money cut backs, and going on the call, even a "ordinary" call is dangerous and should be treated as such... there is no routine calls.

Spouse!(Men i'm thinking of you particularly with the wife!)
