Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I love helping others. My father and brother are firefighters. I figured it was my calling in life to help as many people as i could safely.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

seeing someone in need of help makes me know someone like me is there to help them through their darkest hour.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Volunteers are a dying breed. Too many paid departments and for not the right reasons. Instead of being there to fight fires all day, they are out assisting BLS units or resetting fire alarms.
