Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I'm a grant writer and grants program manager for a metro Phoenix fire department. I work closely with first responders to ensure that they are aware of new funding opportunities, new equipment, and new standards that benefit their safety. The work is incredibly rewarding, and I learn something new almost daily.
