About Me:

I've been through our state's municipal police academy, trying to get a full time job as a cop right now. Joined my local fire department in the late summer of '06. Paid Emergencey Responders are great people, but I've always thought it took a little more to be a volunteer, carrying on traditions that honor volunteers from all through our wonderful country's past

Customer service in banking, hopefully soon I'll be a cop

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Everyone should do something to serve their community. People who have the ability to be emergency responders also have the responsibility to use those talents, skills, and desires.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

the satisfaction of helping people out who are having the worst day of their lives.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

Safety, Safety, Safety. There's a lot of great safety gear out there, but we have to learn not to rely on that same gear so much that we end up putting ourselves in situations that we shouldn't be in.
