Type of Organization
Years in Fire/EMS:
1 season
My Training:
Type-II wildland training(2006)
About Me:
I love to SCUBA Dive, Rockclimb, train in MMA, and plan on working my butt off for the next 4-5 years to become a Smoke Jumper(My dream job). I fell into Wildland fires by accident, but loved every second of it. I came back to Michigan to work "normal" jobs, but really felt empty. I belong either in the Military or part of an Search & Rescue/Fire Team. It's hard coming from working a dedicated career and coming back to unimportant jobs.

I am hoping to get back out there this season(2009), and get my WEMT cert and train in Survival & SAR. Specifically swift water i'd like to specialize in.

Anyway, if you want to know more, just hit me up.
Day Job:
Didn't you see what state I live in? There are no jobs! LOL
Relationship Status:
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I get to help others and protect people from losing their homes, livestock, and livelyhoods

Mike, welcome to the FF Nation. I am glad you dropped in to join the group. Dont be shy. There is lots to do, read and be involved with. Your participation and involvement is important to us all. Takes a bit to kinda figure it all out but you will be glad you did. Have fun and look around.
