Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I like helping people out for a living. I would never care they paid me minimum wage or the top pay for EMS, as long as I am on the bus helping out those in need.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I love having the ability to help those in need.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Unit Safety. I strongly believe that the Patient care area of our units are poorley designed. Too many obstructions and no standards in what kinds of harness/seatbelts are to be used. Airbags have been greatly advanced over the years, its about time we construct something for the back of our units.
Remember it only takes a simple click of a seatbelt to save your life!
