I am a woman on a mission. I don' t know what that mission is yet. But I am a go getter!I love people and if I could I would wrap my arms around the world and give it a giant hug.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I felt a calling into this profession. To help where there is a need. I always felt... I wish there was a mom type person on the department if anyone in my family that was hurt or in need assistance. I felt thee desire to give back but I haven't gotten just as much myself out of this career.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the family, the facing fears, the assistance we give back to our community.

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you are enjoying FFN so far. While you are online, feel free to come check out my blog, Firehouse Zen, which actually originated here on FFN and is now hosted by FireEMSblogs.com And if you are a Facebook member, we'd love to have you "like" us there as well.
michelle, you go get-m girl ,,,, i can relate, read my profile ,,,, but now, welcome to the family ,,,, it's a fun site & does have some interesting blog discussions ,,,, i also like seeing how other departments do the same thing but also like looking at different styled apparatus's used all over the world ,,,, i'm a crash firefighter and we have some of the weirdest ,,,, look at my pics to see some past and present day pieces ,,,, word to the wise, if you trade patches be careful, there are a few people here that just want to get one then not send one back ,,,, i won't mail anything now till i have something in hand ,,,, my goal now is not to get a patch from you i do not collect them ,,,, (but i will trade duty tee-shirts from far away countries and that's how i got "BURNED", i sent the sleaze a tee-shirt & 3 patches and got nothing back ...) i'm just watch-n your back, something most of us on the job understand, it's a big part of what the brotherhood and the family is all about ,,,, if you wanna add me as a friend, great ,,,, if not, that too is OK because this message is intended to mostly welcome but also warn you too ,,,, like in the fire service, not all things are as they appear ,,,, keep me posted and anything i can do to help, e-me ,,,,
be safe, god bless and smile a lot, it will piss someone off lmao :) :) ,,,,
