Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I joined my department to help the residents of my community. I took an Oath in 1975 as an Ohio Police Officer to Serve and Protect and still abide by this Oath today and will do so until I take my last breath on this earth.

Sometimes the lack of constant training, you can never have enough training. Every call is a different situation, you must think on the fly and make the correct decision or you or someone else could perish. Count on your brother or sister firefighter, have their back no matter what.
