About Me:
I have a long history of Firefighting in my family, My grandfather being an Assistant Chief, My great Uncle being Fire Chief, My Father is the EMT-Basic Chief plus Firefighter, My uncle is a Firefighter and EMT-Basic, My Younger Brother is a Firefighter. I have wanted to be a firefighter for as long as I can remember. Watching my father leave to go on calls, was something I wanted to do/and enjoyed. I love the fact that I am on the department with my father, working hand in hand with. It is a memory with its (good and bad) that I will cherish forever.

Does anyone else have Officers on their department who use the ( Do as I say not as I do approach ) . What are your thoughts on this? How do you go about trying to change it?
There was and still is a big Chemical Fire in Columbus Wisconsin. Last night around 8 pm a series of explosions were heard as a fire broke out. It apparently is still going this evening with one major Highway still closed. I've heard around 200 fireman were paged. A few injuries were reported, unsure how severe. check it out...
