I moved to Cartwright North Dakota for work because of the oil boom and later on my Wife moved here along with our Daughter and her Fiance'. Our hometown was just not paying the wages and helped us out financially.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

When we moved to this small community there Fire Department and Ambulance Service is strictly volunteer and needed help due to the sharp increase in people moving here and especially the semi truck traffic, and they desperately needed volunteers, so once my 6 months residency was up I joined the Department.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

Helping people and saving lives.
