About Me:

I'm 23 years old as of 2012, I'm looking for a more stable job in the fire service but for now my roll at the local community college as a Fire Science TA and "Uh-Oh Squad" EMT will do. I'm still working on getting two AS degrees (Fire Science and Emergency Medicine) and will have them quite soon. I am also a cook and training team member at a local amusement park as well as the son of a fire captain. I've been around this industry my entire life, their is no doubt this is what I want to do.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

My father had very little to do with it though his stories did inspire me some. I wanted to become a firefighter/ medic to satisfy my need to help others. I have always cared for others more than myself and will continue to do so for the rest of my days.

Why I Love Fire/EMS

I love Fire/EMS because you get to make a POSITIVE difference in other peoples lives. You could save 10,000 lives and no one will know your name. That to me is amazing, it's not about glory, it's about impact.
