I started in the Fire service at 18 years old as a Volunteer for the Clifty # 6 Fire Rescue Company an independant company that makes up Madison Fire Department Madison, IN. I was a Trooper with the Indiana State Police for almost 10 years, I currently volunteer with Milton Fire and rescue Milton, KY

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

This was my foot in the door to the Emergency Services world. I wanted to be a Trooper and I thought that knowing the Fire Service and the EMS Service would make me a better Trooper so I joined a volunteer company in 1989, took an EMT class in college while getting my A.S. Degree in Law Enforcement
