Why I Joined Fire/EMS

Every since I was little all I wanted to do was help people. I started out thinking I wanted to be a police officer so I went to college and got my degree in criminal justice. Then while in college I joined a local volunteer fire department and the rest is history. I fell in love with firefighting and then was lucky enough to go on and become a full time firefighter. I cannot imagine anything else I would rather do with my life.
