About Me:

Joined York Beach Fire Dept Sept 1972 as a volunteer working my way up through the rank of Captain assigned to Eng 2. Took a full time position as a fire fighter in June 83 and now back up to a Captain. We work a 24 hr shift and we are off for 48 with only 1 person on duty at a time in a resort area. Elected Vice President for the Maine State Federation of Fire Fighters for York County South in 1985 - present time. Also named 2007 Fire Fighter of the Year by the Maine State Federation of Fire Fighters Inc. Wow what a shock that was. President of York County Fire Fighters Assn in 2001 to the present time.
