Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Always wanted to be a fire fighter ever since I was a kid.

At 9:12am on June 23, 2008, Andrew Lipscombe said…: sorry bro, catagory 9 is our manning and catagory for aircraft movements. at the moment we have 8 firefighter, one station officer annd one fire commander. when we go to cat 10 for the A380, we will go to cat 10, we are getting a domestic runner for mediacls and of airport alerts, and a ladder truck, average about 2 medical calls a day. we work a 10/14 roster ( i love it) two 10 hours days 0800 - 1800 and two 14 hour nights 1800-0800 followed by 4 days off.
