About Me:

New to Wildland Fire. Took and passed my first pack test in June and was put on call and dispatch in July this summer. Did not get to go on any fires until a few weeks ago the Saturday after Thanksgiving I got to respond to my first fire. I'm very young but determined to make this happen.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I had always wanted to be a Park Ranger, until I learned the Job is really similar to a police officer. I didn't want to enforce laws all the time. As a senior in high-school I took forestry classes at Front Range Community College and that's where I learned about Wildland Firefighting. I immediately enrolled in the S-130/190 the next semester. I cant wait to really begin getting out there.
