About Me:
You can't judge a book by it's cover.
Red hair, warm heart.
Discovered that saving lives or helping people that are injured is my life's work.
I own guns including one that I spear fish in the pacific ocean in Northern CA with.
I ride fast motorcycles.
I love my job.
I love my boyfriend.
I love my dogs.
I love my family...and not necessarily in this order ;-)
I appreciate what I have and don't think about what I haven't got.
I am fascinated with fire and rescue and the men and women that pursue this noble career.
I am pretty fearless.
I am pretty street smart and always have a plan B
I trust myself and I trust others that are capable. We have a remarkable team of those at Flaresun Fire Group.
I am blessed. Blessed with the sense called common and I have a very good "BS detector".
If you ask me a question and I have an answer, it's because I know the answer. IF I don't know, no answer!
Day Job:
work at a small, kick-ass company that makes patented, over-the-bank rescue equipment for firefighters and other first responders. Our team is made up of mostly firefighters and we work very hard at making the world a safer place for us, the rescuers and for the people we rescue.
I want to change the world we live in by making better equipment and products that will save the lives of others.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
challenge, every rescue is different, firefighters are all the SAME. I mean the same like "golden". :-)
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of federal funding for personnel and equipment. We get around that by financing the equipment for the fire departments so they don't have to wait for what they need. Remember when volunteers were everywhere? Not anymore...we need to work smarter, with less people and make things safer for the rescuers and give the people they rescue the best chance at survival.

Lisa, this IS NOT a site to advertise your products. You can however, contact the web Chief and pay to advertise. Otherwise, the link to your website needs to be removed from your profile page.
